This is an extremely rare and unique opportunity to purchase a reputable business operating over the last 22 years, responsible for the installation and maintenance of beer dispensing equipment, bar equipment hire and full bar management services for events throughout Australia. The business has worked with the best operators in the industry, hosting the largest and most respected national and international events ever held in the country.
Previous events have included the 2000 Olympic Games, 2003 Rugby World Cup, Mardi Gras, State of Origin, NRL Grand Final, Sydney Royal Easter Show, New Years Eve, Oktoberfest in 5 major cities, plus many more. This business manages events for as little as 20 people, right up to complete bar operation for 40,000+.
This business can offer the following for any event:
*Supply of a liquor license for any event within Australia.
*Supply of all infrastructure for the bar operating areas including Marquees, Flooring, Cash Registers, Bar Frontage, Beer Systems, Coolrooms, Offsite Cooling Facilities for stock, Fencing/Barriers, Tables and Chairs for customers.
*Total supply and management of casual staff for the event, has recruited well over 1200 staff per year for various events all over the country. The business holds a strong database that has over 3500 casual staff details appointed.
*All equipment owned, they don’t have to hire the equipment like other bar management companies and can put as much equipment as they want into the venue, and it doesn’t cost money and reduces the risk and cost to the company and the organiser.
*Freights all their own stock and control all stock in-house. Most other bar management companies must contract out this service, so they don’t have full control over the movement or security of stock.
*Provides full financial accounts on the operation of each event. This includes all money collected by cash register, money banked, money accounted for by stock, stock summarized by product, all stock audited both into and out of event, full staff breakdowns of time worked and payments.
The business’ three main revenue streams include the following;
EVENT BAR MANAGEMENT:
In this scenario this business provides all the necessary equipment and is also responsible for the bar management during the event. This is effectively a full-service solution for event organizers. This is the largest part of the businesses activity making up approximately 90% of the current financial year’s revenue.
EQUIPMENT HIRE & ASSET MANAGEMENT:
The business hires bar equipment to various other event organisers and operators and as such has seen an excellent return on their initial infrastructure investment. This business element was traditionally the main income stream and while remaining an extremely lucrative revenue stream, growth in other areas has seen the percentage of its contribution to total revenue drop to 6% in the last financial year. The excellent infrastructure in place in the business not only allows them to increase profits through equipment hire, but also ensures that the barriers to entry for potential competitors remains high and helps to distinguish the business from existing competitors.
BAR MANAGEMENT CONSULTING:
This revenue component sees the business oversee the bar operations of an event, for a fee, without operating the event. So does not entitle them to a proportion of the sales profits.
Financial Summary:
*2022 Revenue (6 months COVID and projected) = $4,550,345 VS EBIT (6 months COVID and projected) = $720,889
*2021 Revenue = $445,152 VS EBIT = $0 (Breakeven Whilst 12 Months COVID Affected)
*2020 Revenue = $3,054,964 VS EBIT = $446,566 (2 months Bushfires & 3 Months COVID Affected)
