Est 25+ yrs, this practice has loyal patients (SWPE = 2662) & stable GP base; all of whom should stay post settlement, incl the owner who wks 3.5 days/wk + wants to do less management! A new GP relocated to the area recently which took the Dr headcount to just over 5 FTE GPs. W/ 2x FTE admin & 1.66 FTE nurses, the additional team can cover each other for their hols & sick leave. The flexibility means that the vendor’s spouse (who looks after the finance, IT & recruitment) is not having to work in the business & can focus on working on it! 

Drs love working here due to the great culture + high no# of complex health cases they can manage. The main reason for Dr attrition from this practice is when the spouse moves away & the whole family relocates; not because they are unhappy which speaks volumes! The long-term drs have been in this practice for 15 to 20 yrs w/ the newer drs in their 30's; so there is a nice blend of youth & experience!

As a MB practice, offering higher item no# via the medication reviews, CDM's & post lap-band care appoints, the average pt billing $80+. There is plenty of footfall past the front door as they are in a shopping centre that offers long terms leases. The new 6 yr lease started Oct 2023. There is direct entrance via a wheelchair friendly pathway from the car park. 

8x drs currently hotdesk w/ 7x CRs + a 2x bed tx rm. They hold 5x 19AB exemptions, 4 of which are held by current drs w/ 1 avail for a new GP who requires DPA exemption. They are an approved business sponsor eligible to recruit drs from overseas. Drs get a fee split according to the no# of days they work:

• 65% = <4 days
• 70% = > 4 days or w/ special/additional skills (skin cancer)
