Offering evidence based, effective speech path intervention targeting a range of communication difficulties, the team supports Medicare funded, NDIS, self & plan managed + private clients. They have a great practice w/ a focus on adults but including kids, adolescents & young adults. W/ massive wait lists, the owners are restricted to wkg school hrs. Owners may stay til Dec '25 or finish earlier, depending on the new co# owner's needs.
The team are employees, getting above award rates for retention purposes. KPI is 4x billable hrs/day & this will cover the costs. Most of the team are achieving 4.3. Owner's preference is to have happy people providing quality care & minimizing staffing turnover. Everyone has a contract incl the casual therapy assistant, a P/T admin, 2.8 FTE speech therapists (2x FT + a PT) + a p/t therapist running a satellite clinic 45 mins away. Another F/T therapist on a 482 visa has a 2x yr contract. They have an external bookkeeper & accountant. Another therapist will start in June 2024.
The co# is an approved visa sponsor which will transfer to the new co# owner w/ the NDIS registrations, leases + contracts.
Lease til April 2026 = $74K pa incl on-costs (rates, water + elect).
Income streams are diverse w/ multiple business outside the NDIS incl Priv Hosp + other residences where they provide in-pt services. One of these contracts is about to renewed for another 3 yrs. The therapists undertake swallowing assessment for sick & elderly pts. There are a number of nursing home contracts & the provision of home + community care.
A work car may transfer to the new co# owner. They pay 80c/km if the team use their own car.
