Rob has over 35 years of hands on in business management, international trade, sales, marketing, consulting and operations experience in strategically growing both revenue and bottom line profit.
He has a broad industry experience across large and small, business working across Information Technology, business growth consulting, intercontinental trade and export development and international marketing, automotive, customer loyalty management and strategy, employee engagement and productivity, small manufacturing and professional services.
Rob began his career at software pioneer SPL after completing a BCom degree then worked in large system sales at IBM successfully leading sales to automotive manufacturers BMW, NISSAN, TOYOTA, FORD and MAZDA.
In 1989 Rob co-founded international trading house and procurement business serving Sub- Saharan Africa, specializing in automotive, trucks, consumer durables, construction equipment and supplies and office automation growing 30% compound for 7 years. In 1996 he started the first commercial plastic play system business in Africa which today is the leader on the continent.
In 1997 moved to Sydney, established a trading house in Sydney along with a number of international joint ventures. After completing a Master in Management and MBA at MGSM Sydney in 2001, Rob ran INTERVID CCTV digital security growing Australian operation and securing Westfield shopping Centres nationally as a client. Rob also established Retail Customer Feedback Systems Australia, real time point of service customer experience measurement systems which he sold in 2004.
In 2005 joining GALLUP CONSULTING as lead partner on employee engagement and customer experience consulting, to drive business growth and was responsible for St George Bank, Air New Zealand, New Zealand Post.
He Joined PWC business growth consulting, working with TELSTRA, on sales performance improvements, David Jones sales improvement and customer experience through employee engagement. In 2008 he acquired small sustainable energy equipment import business to turnaround and jumped at the opportunity, growing it by 25% annually for 4 years and selling part of it in 2015. Rob has guided many independent business owners down the business succession path planning fruitful transitions from business to the next phase in their life cycle.
Rob is a Licensed Real estate Agent, Business Broker and Auctioneer in NSW.
