Kat has been involved in the Hospitality and Tourism Industries in both Tasmanian and Victoria for 25 years, starting her first restaurant at age 20 and moving on to own, operate and lease some of Hobart’s most iconic hospitality establishments.

Kat’s professional career to date includes: Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism; Business sales with Cascade Brewery and Hotel General Manager positions for Rydges Hotels and Resorts and Accor Hotels along with her own accommodation company. With a strong focus and key strength in sales, asset management, marketing, development and yield, Kat has exceptional knowledge in all areas of accommodation, specialising in boutique accommodation properties, food and beverage operations and sales.

Kat is passionate, focused and highly regarded as a self-driven, entrepreneurial businesswoman with a broad-ranging network and she is a natural people person. Kat is currently still in the hospitality game with her own restaurant in Richmond, Tasmania.
