Business Sales Specialist
Chris started his career in 1972 as a real estate agent for Jones Lang Wootton (now Jones Lang LaSalle). He then progressed to joining international real estate agents, Knight Frank in 1985, initially heading up the Sydney City Sales and Investment Division before taking over the management of the retail Division. After retail, he ventured into Hospitality and Tourism.
Chris has been part of the business broking sector since 1985, starting by selling pubs and motels in Sydney. Chris acted for many hospitality stakeholders in a range of consulting activities including, marketing strategies; financial and operational reviews; business re-engineering and structuring; business plans and strategies; and brokerage. Chris has strong marketing and selling skills combined with over 36 years experience across a wide range of property services encompassing the hospitality, retail, commercial and tourism sectors.
Wanting a change in scenery, Chris and his family moved to the United Kingdom where he worked alongside business coaches/insolvency practitioners in creating business plans and strategic workouts. His legacy of his time in the UK includes his involvement with The Red Dog Café which is listed as a top 10 restaurant in Essex.
Chris is now back in Sydney and joins LINK with his vast knowledge in real estate and hospitality broking. He chose LINK as it is an international company and are leaders in the industry. He is excited to continue work with LINK and to continue learning and growing, keeping up to date with trends and ideas. As part of the LINK's NSW team, he specialises in Pubs, Motels, Resorts & Tourism, located in regional areas and the Inner Western suburbs of Sydney.
